How to Make Peace with Your Past Mistakes and Be Free from Spirit Possession?


 

Many people reach out to us burdened by events from their past that they just can't seem to reconcile with. Sometimes it's about life mistakes, while other times, it’s just an overwhelming sense of guilt. This guilt often doesn't stem from an actual mistake, but from negative perceptions about what one did or didn't do.

 

The School of Life

We came to this grand school of life to learn the lessons that come with human experience—lessons often rooted in emotional and mental challenges. Sometimes, our role is to give in to our own weaknesses so that we can fully understand their consequences. Without experiencing these situations, we wouldn’t know if the motivations that led us to certain events were beneficial or harmful in the long run.

Our purpose isn't solely to act in ways we believe are moral or ethical—and there are two reasons for this. First, what we perceive as moral might not align with divine law. Second, sometimes making mistakes is far more valuable for us than following a pre-planned script. Of course, this doesn’t mean we advocate immorality. Instead, we believe in allowing ourselves to experiment, make mistakes, and learn from them so that we don’t repeat them in the future. It’s about approaching our actions with tolerance and courage, especially in new and unexpected situations—embracing a certain spontaneity. Spontaneity allows buried patterns, those that our critical minds suppress, to surface and be healed.

 

Observing and Allowing Mistakes

The first step to releasing painful patterns lies in observing our internal tendencies — our emotions and thoughts. These elements shape our existence, often determining whether life feels blissful or agonizing. The next step is allowing ourselves to err. Every emotion and thought is a part of the divine cosmos, meaning the universe itself encourages exploration and even "error" as pathways to evolution, the driving force behind all cosmic activity.

The more advanced a soul is in its development, the more it views mistakes as part of its learning and spiritual growth throughout many incarnations. The central concept here is karma, which holds that all of our actions, both good and bad, have consequences that shape our future experiences. A key aspect of this approach is refraining from judging both our own and others' mistakes, as every individual is on a unique path of growth.

Rather than condemnation, an enlightened being will show compassion to those who make mistakes, emphasizing continuous self-improvement and learning. They will highlight the fundamental unity of all humanity, regardless of individual missteps. This philosophy also encourages personal responsibility, recognizing that each of us is ultimately accountable for our actions and their outcomes. Such a holistic approach aims to foster spiritual growth and understanding, viewing mistakes not as failures but as invaluable opportunities for learning and development.

 

Forgiving Yourself and Letting Go

We repeat this often so it sinks deeply into our minds—"Making mistakes is okay." If you've made mistakes, forgive yourself, decide not to repeat them, and finally, forget them. Dwelling on your shortcomings is equivalent to constantly condemning yourself, which only draws more suffering—not just in the form of karma, but from the much greater pain that arises from your own judgment.

Spirit Possession and Self-Judgment

There are many souls who, after physical death, linger in the afterlife, unable to transition to higher vibrational fields where they could finally find peace and freedom from self-condemnation. Through the principle of resonance, such souls are drawn to the living who share similar character traits. For living individuals, this creates an intense amplification of their suffering, stemming from spirit possession. Consequently, it leads to the manifestation of a personal "hell," mirroring the torment of these unfortunate spirits who could not show compassion to themselves.
