Coping with the Death of Someone You Loved

October 15, 2022

In today's post we will discuss a situation in which the spirit of our deceased loved one was a person we liked, and perhaps even loved, during their lifetime.

Such a spirit has also undergone a detrimental regrouping of the emotional body (more on this in an earlier post). Its most negative emotions are therefore now outside its emotional body. Because our subconscious feels strong sympathy for the spirit, we often find ourselves thinking about it and recalling our shared experiences in physical life. Thoughts in which there is a great deal of sympathy will quickly attract a loved one to us. Since the spirit's emotions are arranged in such a way that the most negative ones are on the outside, it may happen that we feel worse when remembering the deceased. This is because we begin to be affected by its most negative emotions.

We will not experience such a phenomenon during the first 40 days after the passing of our loved one. During this period our loved one's spirit stays in an emotional body and does not have to make any decisions. This stage is only meant for the spirit to have the opportunity to say goodbye to the people they loved and get used to the advent of a new reality, in which they will permanently live in the emotional body. The emotional body is intrinsically endowed with a much greater degree of freedom and energy than a physical body, but this is only available if the spirit:

1. Is not afraid to leave physicality.

2. Will not be dependent on material life and will not allow its emotional body to regroup, which is always a consequence of the desire to stay with physicality.

3. Makes the decision to leave for the afterlife.

However, there are many souls who are afraid of this departure, and they therefore remain on low levels of the astral world. This becomes a source of great suffering for themselves and the people with whom they come into contact.

Let us return to the situation in which our beloved loved one has not left, and we have begun to attract them to us. The living person usually finds it very difficult to come to terms with the departure of a person for whom they had nourished tender emotions. Almost everyone experiences it as a great tragedy, but completely unnecessarily. If there was true love between people, they remain connected to each other on the level of love coming from the heart. Neither death nor anything else can break such a connection. It is eternal and most often comes not just from one past incarnation, we recall, but from many.

Therefore, if our deceased loved one regroups their emotional body and stays close to physicality the chance that the loved one will possess us, or someone who was equally close to them, is very high. Since there is a thread of affection it will become a chain that keeps the spirit with us. We, too, will not want to live without feeling closeness to the spirit. Meanwhile, closeness can come from two sources:

1. From our personality, that is, from our small ego.

2. From the heart.

Closeness coming from the level of the heart is guaranteed forever, as long as we permanently keep our vibration at a high level of love. Such closeness with any soul is completely safe.

The desire for closeness may instead stem from ego, such as our need for dependence and the desire to have the deceased by our side to help us. We may also want to share old habits and common emotions. Then it will become a toxic relationship, which will cause suffering for the spirit and for us. The spirit will begin to rely on our energy and a dependency will be created. This will lead to a possession, and sooner or later you will begin to feel its symptoms.

To prevent this from happening it is necessary to say goodbye to the spirit and let it go. Separation must be approached as if our loved one is leaving for a distant country. We know that they are still alive, but they are not with us. We then live in the awareness that this is not a permanent separation. True love always gives freedom, and it is necessary to give our loved one permission to depart to the afterlife, to a higher world, where their life will be much better than in physicality.

It is, of course, necessary to go through mourning, and it can be very intense, but it should by no means last longer than the aforementioned 40 days. This is because this is the time during which the spirit has enough strength to leave for the afterlife on its own. After that, it will be dependent on the energies of the living, which will of necessity lead to a possession.

In the next post we will explain how to proceed when our loved one has stayed with us and is in the process of being led away--when you are going through the spirit removal process at our center or using other help to remove spirits.
