Halloween Without Spirit Attachments

Halloween Without Spirit Attachments

Halloween has always been a holiday filled with mystery, magic and superstition. It originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.  Over time, however, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, dressing in scary costumes, decorating homes, carving pumpkins and more.

One common factor between Celtic and modern cultures still remains. Halloween has always been primarily focused on ghosts and death. What many people don’t realize is that certain Halloween activities that focus on spirits could turn out to be dangerous because they can contribute to spirits possessing our bodies.

Here are Halloween activities that should be skipped to avoid spirit attachments:

Summoning Spirits

Halloween is the most popular day to summon spirits and the days following this holiday are one of the busiest times for the Dr. Wanda Pratnicka Center. People who have summoned spirits find themselves desperately looking for help to get rid of them, but spirits have no intention of leaving. Spirits feel as if they were “called upon and invited” because, simply put, they were invited, so they cannot grasp why they should leave. When people attempt to summon spirits, spirits respond relatively quickly. Spirits know people’s thoughts and emotions, so they respond accordingly to what individuals want to hear. By doing so, people start to pay more attention and their excitement grows, but at the same time spirits get even closer and ultimately possess them. We have also found that even people who merely observed the summoning of spirits, but didn’t actively participate in the activity, also ended up possessed by spirits.

From the moment possession takes place, “strange” things start to happen. People begin to sense someone else’s presence anywhere they go, they hear voices, they experience intrusive or even suicidal thoughts, and they have unexplained anxiety or sadness.

Change in personality is the most noticeable in children. Many become sluggish, sad, depressed, isolated, experience constant stomachaches or headaches, and isolate themselves. Others become aggressive, cause trouble in school and at home, and succumb to addiction. Removing such spirits can be a lengthy process, even for a very skilled exorcist, because once removed, spirits have a tendency to return over and over again.

So, for all of the above mentioned reasons, we strongly advise people to stay away from any games, such as Ouija boards, that aim to contact the other side.

Visiting Haunted Houses / Ghost Tours

Visiting Haunted Houses Ghost Tours

In many cities, tours of haunted houses or ghost tours are popular tourist attractions, especially during the Halloween season, when they are full of participants. To make them even more attractive they are often located near cemeteries, or in shuttered funeral homes, or in homes where violent crimes took place. Such places, to say the least, are filled with spirits and negative energy.

You may accidentally walk into a home or property where spirits are attached. And even though you weren’t aware of the spirits and never meant to seek their attention, such visits will drain your energy and will leave you exhausted.

The consequences of purposely visiting a haunted house or attending a ghost tour could go well beyond merely having your energy drained. Some people enjoy being terrified and having knots in their stomach gives them pure excitement. Such people are usually the easiest target for spirits possessing their body.

Remember, everything that is alive needs energy (people, spirits, animals, trees etc). Spirits who didn’t transition to the other side, are especially short of energy and will look for opportunities to steal it. When you seek to contact them or visit places, like haunted houses, that they are attached to, it’s like you are exposing yourself to hungry lions who are just waiting for their next fresh meal.

It is similar with spirits. The world of the living belongs to the living and the world of spirits belongs to the spirits. These two groups should never intersect with one another. The moment you disturb spirits, as in the story above, you will end up becoming possessed by them.

Wild Halloween parties

Many Halloween parties quickly get out of control. Perhaps, being dressed as someone or something else gives us a permission to no longer abide by standard social norms. Several studies have shown how people engage in behavior that they otherwise wouldn’t when they shed their sense of personal identity.

We are referring to the type of Halloween parties where people drink heavily, partake in drugs, have sexual encounters and completely lose control of themselves. During such events it is rather easy for spirits to possess people. A spirit would normally never come close, nor manipulate a living person, who has their emotions under control. Why exactly are spirits drawn to people who are under the influence?

If a person is addicted to drugs or alcohol while living, death will not liberate them of that addiction. This kind of spirit is usually not able to pass to the Light because they are still strongly attached to the physical world. The desire to satisfy their addiction is much more intense without the physical body. The only way to satisfy the spirit’s addiction is through a living person so they can absorb their energy. The next day when a person has a hangover, they think it’s because of the excess amount of alcohol in their blood system. This is partially true, but they also feel physically and emotionally weak because of the energy a spirit may have stolen from them. When a person drinks more frequently, it is almost guaranteed that they have several spirits permanently attached to them. From that moment on, their desire to drink (or use any other kind of substance) increases, their personality changes, relationships fall apart, and their life spins out of control.

One of the best ways to live a positive life is to celebrate and embrace things that make us happy. For many people, the Halloween holiday brings back fond memories from childhood. For your own well-being, let’s celebrate this Halloween without disturbing the other side so that we don’t invite any unwanted entities into our lives.
