The Role Our Thoughts Play at Attracting Spirits

The Role Our Thoughts Play at Attracting Spirits

We assume that both beginners and advanced individuals on this path already know their emotional life and recognize the moment when they start attracting spirits into their emotional body after the spirit has been led away. (If that is not already the case, please refer back to the last two posts from August 20, 2022 and September 3, 2022).

How Can the Emotion of Pity Attract Spirits?

How Can the Emotion of Pity Attract Spirits

Let us assume that the emotion that attracts spirits is pity. We begin to feel pity when we experience suffering, or when we see the suffering of others. We then feel sorry for ourselves or others. Pity is a negative emotion, at the root of which is the thought, "Life is bad, God does not exist, or He is imperfect, my suffering will last for the rest of my life." The emotion of pity, like any other, is a direct consequence of the thought that is associated with this emotion. This is because thought has a higher vibration and, as a result, has power over emotion. In order to rid ourselves of an emotion, we have to look at our own thoughts first.

The Crucial Role of Recognizing Emotions

If you conscientiously follow the recommendations of the previous two posts (links are listed at the beginning of this post), you will recognize what emotions you have. This relates to your mental body, that is, your thoughts, but emotional awareness is the basis for this process. You cannot skip reading the previous two blog posts. You must understand them thoroughly and apply them to your daily life. Let us say that an emotion appears in your daily experience.

Your task is to recognize what kind of emotion it is, whether it is positive or negative. Positive emotions should be strengthened so as to have as many such emotions as possible, but negative emotions should be turned off--they are destructive and will always cause suffering. So you know the emotion, you recognize it as negative and you want to turn it off. You then need to look at the thought that triggered that emotion.

How Do Your Thoughts Trigger Emotions?

How Do Your Thoughts Trigger Emotions

Returning to the emotion of pity: You noticed someone else's suffering or your own, and thought: "How awful life is." The emotion of pity then resurfaces. Pity will be with you as long as you hold the thought, or possibly a little longer, because emotions have a force of inertia that continues even when the thought that evoked it ceases. Hence, you always have to investigate what thought is behind an emotion. When you stabilize your state of living without spirits for an extended period, say for three months, you will begin to perceive your own emotional life more and more deeply, and you will examine the subconscious more and more closely.

Our subconscious mind is connected to the superconscious, our Higher Self, which knows the answers to all questions of human existence (and more). A good understanding of your own emotions will therefore provide you with a way to make increasingly better contact with your subconscious, and ultimately with the Higher Mind. After some length of time, you will realize that this Higher Mind is vital to live a happy life. This is because the Higher Self is able to answer all your questions about life, as it knows ways to fix all your problems. This consciousness will fill you with great admiration for life.

Questioning Thoughts: Analyzing Pity and God's Existence

Let us return to pity and the thoughts that gave rise to this emotion: "Life is bad, God is not there, or He is imperfect, my suffering will last for the rest of my life." This is obviously untrue. God exists and is in each one of us. Without Him we are lost, but we can get out of this maze if we analyze our own problems, and specifically we need to learn two things: "What emotion causes the problem?" and "What thought is causing this emotion?" The superconscious, or your Higher Self, is eager to give you hints and evidence that life without God could not exist at all.

In the beginning, you can also bolster yourself by reading great books containing wisdom about what life is and is not (for example, by reading the books In The Wheel of Life, Volume 1-4, by Wanda Pratnicka). Either way, your task is to investigate whether the thought that triggers the emotion is the Truth, coming not from the human side of the mind, but from God.

How Can You Determine if a Thought is True or False?

I can assure you right away that any thought that leads to a negative emotion is not the Truth, and it does not come from God. It must be false because it leads to suffering. I am sure that you feel that humankind’s destiny is not to live in suffering. Initially, try to trust that what I say is true and examine it in your own experience. Just persistently reject the thought, "Life is bad." You will notice that this will cause the negative emotion to decrease.

If you become skilled with this method you will be able to turn off negative thoughts the very moment there is a subtle feeling of negative emotion, namely suffering. This will lead you to complete freedom from negative thoughts and, consequently, from negative emotions, and this in turn will forever free you from spirits (please note that if you are currently dealing with spirit attachment then you will need a professional exorcist or healer to initially lead away spirits from you. The method provided here will only ensure spirits do not return to you in the future once you are freed).

How Can You Achieve Freedom from Negative Thoughts and Spirits?

You will simply stop attracting them to yourself, because you will no longer generate any attraction force. The scheme mentioned here is, of course, a huge task, and most of us will not be able to perfect it in a short period of time, nor understand it on first reading. But the good news is that this exercise will lead you to mastery of the process in time, and with it will come encouragement, joy of existence and reconciliation with the Creator.

In our next post, we will answer the question of what to do when the spirit of a deceased loved one continually returns to us, again and again.
