Questions about Spirit Attachment Answered

Questions about Spirit Attachment, Answered.

1. When people suffer from depression, panic attacks, mood swings or other emotional problems, most try the conventional methods for recovery by going to a doctor, taking medication, or trying therapy. I am curious how and when people come up with the idea to ask an exorcist for help?

People usually decide to seek out an exorcist for help after they have exhausted all the other conventional methods – doctors, psychotherapist, and psychiatrists. Many people also try alternative methods of healing, but still suffer from emotional problems. After they have exhausted all the possibilities for recovery, they will then reach out to an exorcist.

2. What comes to mind for many people when they think about possession of spirits are scenes from horror movies in which a person shakes uncontrollably, vomits, says vile things, etc. The book “Possessed by Ghosts” portrays possession in a very different manner. You even get the impression that possession is a common occurrence in today’s world. Can you comment on that?

Yes, I can confirm that possession is a common occurrence in today’s world and Hollywood’s interpretation of it is far, far from reality. But the goal of horror movies was never to educate people, but rather to entertain them.

When we look at the problem of possession from the society as a whole, it is still completely misunderstood or understood incorrectly. Most people still don’t understand that spirit attachment could be responsible for depression, unexplained fears or phobias, intense negative emotions, mood swings, or erratic behavior by a loved one. We don’t think that our friend who suddenly has changed and isolated themselves, or our sister who started to drink uncontrollably, could be under the influence of spirits. And because of this, many people suffer unnecessarily for years or possibly for the rest of their lives.

Just look around and see how many people are struggling emotionally or leading unstable lives. There is a very good chance that many of them are dealing with spirit attachments.

3. Do people still react to exorcisms and spirits with fear or disbelief? Has the approach to exorcisms been changing over the last few decades?

People’s approach to exorcism constantly changes due to the growing understanding of this topic and the willingness to share this information with others. The new generation is more open-minded and more in touch with the spiritual aspect of life. They seek solutions to their problems from within, not outside of themselves. This is also why more people subconsciously feel that their problems, including their emotional problems, don’t originate from them, but from entities that have attached themselves to them. Perhaps they can’t talk about it with their friends or family, however, they do have some basic understanding of what is happening with them, which is the first step towards healing.

Another indication for exorcism gaining popularity is the steadily increasing number of sales of the book “Possessed by Ghosts”. We have come a long way. Twenty years ago when we wanted to book a venue to host a lecture, we would often get rejected once the venue found out that we discussed exorcisms. Today, we get more invitations to speak at events that we can actually accept.

Ideas always evolve over time as our collective consciousness expands. My generation used to laugh when you heard that someone meditates, but now meditation retreats are commonplace and well-attended, there are hundreds of apps designed to help you to meditate, and even doctors recommend it. Things always change over time.

4. Do you think that one-day exorcisms will become as popular as meditation, yoga or reiki?

I really hope so. If this happens, we could return to the ancient times during where knowledge about possession was as ordinary and normal as the understanding of healthy eating. There are so many people for whom exorcism would greatly improve the quality of life, so this is why I hope that more and more people will find the courage to become better acquainted with this subject, which only at first glance seems terrifying. But if we take a closer look, we would realize—with a great sense of relief—that there is an explanation for our suffering and we aren’t losing our mind. I refer to it as “losing our mind” because most people who deal with spirit attachment think that they are going crazy, and that this is only happening to them since they can’t find any other explanation for their ailments.

5. Do you find that some people are impossible to be freed of spirits?

No, there is no such case at our organization. At the Dr. Wanda Pratnicka Center, the exorcism performed is always effective. However, some people will attract spirits back after they have been led away. Obviously, we try to explain how to handle their emotions and thoughts in order to distance themselves from spirits, but whether someone applies these important instructions is up to them. We store in our subconscious mind many destructive programs, and they can influence us throughout our entire life because we are unable to identify them and turn them off. When we take this aspect into consideration, there is a possibility (although it rarely happens) that at some point in the future, we may deal with spirit attachment again because we didn’t want to recognize these negative programs.

6. Do people that reach out to you for help have anything in common, such as age, religion, ethnicity, profession, etc.?

Spirit attachment can happen to anybody and it has nothing to do with person’s social status, sex, age, or profession. We help people from all around the world. Each human, whether they are Christian or Muslim, whether they are a celebrity or a housewife, can feel negative emotions, and if these emotions get too much out of balance, they can put themselves at risk of attracting spirits.

One thing that all our clients have in common, is that they are equally scared, confused and have tried everything to help themselves, but to no avail.

7. Spiritual teachers often say that things don’t happen to us, but for us. Can possession by ghosts serve a higher purpose? And if so, is it possible to benefit from it?

Yes, of course. Freeing yourself of spirits is a step to a better, more spiritually enlightened life. In essence, possession leads to an understanding that our emotional and mental state have a significant importance when it comes to the quality of our life. Let me give you an example. For spirit attachment to take place, we need two parties—human and a spirit—to attract one another (think in terms of "It takes two to tango"). Consciously, nobody would choose to attract and draw spirits into their life. This is typically an unconscious act. One of the ways of how we attract spirits is by our negative emotions. Once a possession takes place, spirits will strongly intensify our negative emotional states. Sometimes, such negative intensity caused by spirits can be unbearable, and as a result, an individual will do anything to end their suffering. When such a moment arrives, a possessed person is ready to let go of all the negative emotions that contributed to the possession in the first place. For example, forgiving their spouse or parent, and letting go of feelings of guilt and/or feeling sorry for themselves. In other words, spirit possession forces them to let go of the grudges that they have been carrying for years; otherwise they would never get to it.

8. How to protect yourself from spirit attachment?

There are protective measures that a person can take which are very effective, but they require constant awareness. Someone has to constantly pay attention to what they feel and what they think, because ‘mistaken thinking’ invites us to negative emotions, and negative emotions attract souls who didn’t transition to the other side. Forgiveness and self-love, practiced on regular basis, is also highly beneficial.

Last, but not least, is to allow our loved ones who have passed away a peaceful transition to the other side, and not force them to stay with us.

9. Over the last few months due to the pandemic, people around the world were forced to stay at home and isolate. The New York Times wrote that for some people, the pandemic has been less isolating than they bargained for due to an increase in paranormal activity in their homes. Did your center receive more requests for help during the lockdown?

Yes, we did receive more requests for help. A pandemic, like any other social problem, causes additional fear and uncertainty, which impedes upon our daily life. Such fears attract spirits, which at first only reside in a human’s energetic field; however, this could ultimately lead to possession. The media, through constant conversations over the last few months about the dangers of the pandemic, has also intensified this problem. This results in solidifying the state of mind to be in constant fear. Unfortunately, for many people, this eventually leads to a state of panic.

There is also another aspect as to why more people decided to reach out for help during the pandemic. Normally, many people live a life in a constant rush, focused on profits and material goods, and/or wasting time on meaningless conversations or events in order to block their emotional pain. So when we are forced to be alone and not be surrounded by all these distractions, we have to finally face the pain, and as a result, we are motivated to do something about it.

10. What brings you the most happiness and what makes you the saddest in regards to your work?

Obviously, like any other person, I feel all ranges of human emotions, including negative ones, such as sadness. However, I only let them appear for a short period of time. It is important to acknowledge their existence, but I don’t give them too much attention. Thanks to that, I don’t recreate their return in the future. I think the thing that brings me the most happiness is the ability to serve and help others. When we serve others, we forget about our own ego and its negative tendencies.
