In today’s post, we delve into the profound influence that beliefs have on our everyday lives. These beliefs, often rooted in childhood and absorbed from our surroundings, shape our worldview in significant ways. They don’t necessarily come through verbal communication. From infancy, we are emotionally and mentally connected to our immediate environment, primarily our parents. Their beliefs during that period become part of our own, profoundly affecting our perspective on life.
However, childhood is not the sole source of our beliefs. As we enter this world, we bring with us emotions and thoughts from previous incarnations. Although we do not carry the energy directly from past lives, the most crucial emotions and thoughts persist in the form of tendencies. Consequently, we are predisposed to adopt certain beliefs from our environment, but only those that resonate with our own, carried over from previous incarnations.
For instance, if in a past incarnation we believed that close family relationships are paramount, we will pursue the same direction in this life, shaping our personality accordingly. Such tendencies can be beneficial, like believing in the importance of selfless service to others, or destructive, like believing we must do everything to keep a partner or child close, leading to possessive behaviors.
These beliefs essentially act as a lens through which we view the world. They filter out anything that does not align with our established worldview and reinforce what does. One of the many tasks of our physical existence is to recognize where our personality, formed in this incarnation, derives its “software.” This influences every aspect of our physical life, energy levels, emotional and mental life. This software is nothing but a set of ingrained judgments, a sort of template that we replay concerning our inner self and surroundings.
Identifying this software is crucial as it determines the vibrational level at which we navigate our current life, dictating its conditions, including whether we will be unhappy or fulfilled. It also determines if we will open ourselves up to possession and the infinite suffering that ensues. Thus, a vital part of the spirit removal process is helping the possessed recognize these templates through which they view the world and transform them from destructive to beneficial.
Our primary task on earth is to gain awareness of what “software” makes us react in specific ways. Awareness comes from observation. Life itself will encourage us to observe our behaviors, the words we speak, our emotions, and thoughts. This observation will eventually lead us to a complete understanding of the origins of our motivations.
In this process, we will realize that not everything we carry inside stems from our past or our immediate and distant surroundings. We will recognize the goodness that has always been within us, which we do not always notice or act upon. This understanding will lead us to recognize elements within us that were not placed there by us but have always been present. The more we observe these, the more we will identify them as divine traits characterized by love, compassion, and selfless help.
As we increasingly align with this divine path, we will move toward a realm of eternal happiness, understanding that we never truly die, that our true essence knows no fear, suffering, or disease. These afflictions only happen to our bodies – physical, energy, emotional, and mental. We will clearly see that these bodies are merely vehicles for experience, which we change with each incarnation. We will also understand that all suffering arising from our emotions and thoughts can be altered by removing destructive programs.
Upon recognizing our true nature, we will no longer fear death or life itself, as one is inherently linked to the other. We will comprehend that the suffering we endure is merely a guide on the path to eliminating all forms of negativity we harbor within. From here, it is only a step to achieving total freedom, the ultimate goal that sages, prophets, and saints have tirelessly directed us toward throughout the ages.
