One might think this post will delve into matters of spirit summoning, but it's actually about highlighting the various unconscious ways people communicate with spirits. It explores the subtle, often unnoticed interactions between the living and the spiritual realm, shedding light on how our thoughts, emotions, and deeper connections transcend the physical world to touch the ethereal.
First and foremost is communication through emotions experienced after a loved one has departed from the physical world. We find ourselves reminiscing about moments shared, bringing to the surface emotions that were once exchanged. This form of communication becomes particularly poignant during times of grief, where sadness, and sometimes even despair, engulf us.
This communication takes on significant importance soon after a loved one sheds their physical form. Our emotions are exceptionally strong during this period. Death, the most profound event in anyone's life, reminds us of our own mortality through the loss of someone close. Subconsciously, we might find ourselves engulfed in fear of death, which is humanity's greatest fear. Most fears stem from a survival instinct, an unacknowledged dread of death. Therefore, emotions in mourning can be intensely overwhelming.
Feeling these emotions is a form of communication with the departing soul. We can communicate with other people in three ways – through emotions, for instance, when we are angry at someone, we send negative energy their way. However, this can also be a positive emotion, like when we fondly remember someone we like.
The second mode of communication is through thoughts, often tinged with emotions since thoughts provoke emotional responses. Thinking about a deceased person, wondering about their well-being, draws their spirit closer to us.
The third method is communication through the heart. This assumes we have, or had, a genuine love for someone. This isn't about the romantic emotions often found in human relationships, like those between long-term partners, where love might be mistaken for familiarity. The love discussed here is different. Human love often manifests as dependency, a deep-rooted belief in the subconscious that we need the other person for one reason or another. True love is akin to divine love, expressed in sentiments like, "I love you regardless of who you are. I am here to give, not to take. I love you even if you harbor negative emotions leading to conflict. My love transcends emotions and thoughts – it comes from the heart."
This love is stronger than death itself. We don't expect anything from the deceased; we simply love them, whether they are physically with us or not, and we let them go, devoid of the desire to keep them close, which arises when we can't imagine life without them. Those who have experienced such love attest that it increases in a relationship where one partner is no longer confined to a physical body, which often blocks many subtle signals, one of which is true love. All humanity aspires to this love, yearns for it, and it is the ultimate goal of all human endeavors, whether we are conscious of it or not.
Another form of communication to be explored here is with the spirits of the deceased after the mourning period. For instance, we might have certain negative thoughts and emotions, and the spirit of a deceased person who hasn't crossed over comes through. Feeling this negative emotion, we attract a spirit with a similar emotion, thus using it to connect/communicate with the spirit. This leads to POSSESSION BY SPIRITS and is the source of much suffering discussed HERE.
Such communication needs to be severed. Many posts on this BLOG aim to facilitate this. Often, those who experience spirit possession know they shouldn't communicate with spirits, yet they resort to calling out to the spirit in anger: "Get out, I don't want to see, hear, or feel you, you are the source of my suffering!" This statement, though intended to repel the spirit, is itself a form of communication and strengthens the emotional current connecting us to the spirit.
Spirits are aware of this and often provoke the person who experiences possession, constantly reminding them with a mischievous smile, "See how skillfully I can manipulate you, you do everything I want, I am the source of your suffering!" This plunges the possessed person into a state of helplessness and rage. Both emotions are negative and thus attract entities from the spirit world. Spirits rely on us succumbing to rage – it keeps us within their reach.
Breaking any form of communication involves ignoring the other party. Though emotions of indignation may arise, we must restrain them; otherwise, we will never be free from the spirits. FORGIVENESS is one way to do this, though it's not easy to forgive someone who causes constant pain. The best approach is to develop a keen awareness of our emotions and realize that succumbing to the temptation of feeling negative emotions towards spirits (or anything else) is harmful to us. In doing so, we inadvertently attract spirits to ourselves.
