How Spirits Manipulate Us

Spirits always try - and frequently succeed at - manipulating humans in many ways. Spirits that have not crossed over to the other side after the death of the physical body remain close to the physical world. They stay in their emotional, or astral, body: which is another, subtler, human energy body. Our emotional body, has the appearance of a human-shaped form and it has abundant properties that spirits use to influence, manipulate, and totally interfere with human beings.

Why do spirits want such close contact with us?

The reason’s rather complex, and it all has to do with energy. By not departing to the higher worlds because they chose connection to the world of living humans, spirits defy the natural laws of the Universe and defy the will of God, who commands the soul's transition to higher vibrational states as the very means of ascending to the Light.

One of the many consequences of this poor choice is that the spirit becomes energetically disconnected from its Source. Therefore the untethered spirit progressively loses more and more energy as time goes on. Quite readily, the spirit’s awareness of this energy loss paradoxically reinforces its fear of death (although it already experienced physical death), so it continues making unnatural choices. The spirit knows it’s near living people with vibrant energy bodies and powerful human vitality, which appear to the spirit as attractive luminous points.

The spirit feels that by approaching the person they will able to feed off the person’s energy, and this is exactly what happens. The closer it gets to a person, the greater the energy flow that will create a circuit between them. The spirit will have a keen interest in making the a spirit-human relationship as close as possible. Its survival instinct becomes amplified and so spirits do everything in their power to attain this goal. Though to them this isn’t malicious action on their part; they’re simply trying to survive, and have no idea of the exponential impacts their desires and decisions will create.

Spirits can perceive our emotions

Because spirits reside in their emotional body, they are able to effortlessly perceive the emotions of the people who attracted them. Spirits can only do so if they’re in fact attracted by a particular individual; spirits can’t of their own accord simply approach a person that, let's say, corresponds to them energetically. The key conclusion is that every person's current destiny and future fate is entirely within their own hands. If we stay aware of our emotional habits, and don’t indulge in negative emotions of the astral (emotional) plane, then we won’t ever come in contact with the lost inhabitants of the lower-vibrational world.

How spirits manipulate us

So if there is a similarity on the level of emotions such as anger, jealousy, etc., and the spirits manage to get close to a person, they will clearly see a cross-section of all their negative emotional states. Usually these energies emanate from a person who has already been possessed, because their array of negative emotions is very elaborate and strong: the precise conditions that trigger powers of attraction. A spirit targeting human energy has a vested interest in ongoing, compatible negativity, and so tries to influence the person with its own negative emotions, as are identical to the person’s own. So if we’re talking about anger, as an example, the spirit works to influence a living person in such a way that alters all perception of the world around them.

Suppose that a father experiencing spirit possession is arguing with his son. The spirit immediately takes this opportunity to fuel the father's rage with the spirit's own anger and rage. Since the man who’s arguing activates the frequency of his emotional body that resonates with anger, it’s very easy for the spirit to match and then manipulate this anger. It’s like an energetic current to which the spirit can automatically  connect, and perceptibly amplify.

The Manipulation of Emotions and Perceptual Alteration

The man then feels a surge of unbidden anger and may easily make the wrong decision and inwardly justify it, then outwardly express it as physicality. This happens because the compounded addition of the spirit’s anger, will absolutely alter the man's perception, it will increasingly seem to him that all the "fault" or responsibility for the altercation lies with his son.

Obviously this is the wrong decision on the father's part, because he allowed for his negative emotions to be manipulated by the negative spirit who holds anger in abundance. However, if the father gains any amount of self-awareness and realizes he’s got to get himself under control, he’ll be doing the right thing on a number of levels not only for himself, but for those around him.

His decision to readjust his emotional status will automatically render him ineligible for manipulation by any spirit. Yet especially in today's world, many or likely most people aren’t in any control of their emotions - mainly because they have no awareness of the flow of their emotional currents.
